I generally like these things a lot. You can wear them to nights out or as part of a suit. The chain is not as big as I thought. I was expecting it to come out more on the shoulders. It's mostly crocheted (I think). Very tight around the neck. He's on my last hook. It is laid out on the shoe container. If you have a rope that long and it doesn't fit around your neck, you can't wear it. There is no stretch. The ring is adjustable. I have large fingers (9/10) and was able to adjust it comfortably.
