I value quality. I want my money's worth, and if I'm going to spend more than $20 for a bottle of water, it's better that it's more than good - it has to be great! Having said that, it is very important to me to have a durable product that I don't have to replace often. I don't want to buy a bunch of random items that end up in a landfill. For me, this product is worth the investment. It's a little pricey but I expect it to last at least 10 years. When you look at how much you're saving on bottled water costs and how much plastic you're keeping from landfill, it's worth it! The luxury brand was worth the extra price. A non-original branded bottle faded in less than three months of use. There were also small rust spots on the inner lining. My swollen bottle has not tarnished or rusted. I had both for the same time. I highly recommend spending the extra money on a branded bottle as the quality is better. I'm also quite sensitive to smells and tastes. The unknown brand left a metallic taste on my water. The thick bottle makes the water look like normal water. no metallic taste! Save the bottle from being thrown in the landfill and buy the right one the first time! I will always buy a fancy bottle in the future, so I know I don't risk buying a useless bottle that ends up in the trash.
