The product works well but I've only used two so far and one of them gave me problems but I'm not sure if it's broken or not. I don't know about the timer function, but the instructions seem to have been translated into English, but not ideal. The main reason for only 3 stars is that they emailed me every other day for two weeks after purchase to persuade me to leave a review. Practically pestering customers for product reviews is a great way to keep loyal customers. Also, they don't connect directly to Alexa or Google, they have their own service called Smart Life and you have to connect to that service through Google Home or Alexa and that works pretty well 90% of the time.
