Review on Zoo Med Repti Ramp XLarge by Dominique Brown

***Rating refers to size XL***As a potion for a lizard or a snake I give five stars. It is durable and holds water well. However, I originally bought it for its intended use as a water bowl for Russian tortoises. That's the problem with the product. Twice I found the unfortunate turtle lying upside down in this bowl, almost completely submerged in the water, trying to right itself. Fortunately, none of the turtles were harmed, but this could easily lead to drowning. I thought the first fall must have been one of those crazy accidents; Second time I've removed this shell from the turtle enclosure and will be switching to terracotta saucers to obtain it. The dish itself is edible, although based on my experience I wanted to revise it accordingly. I have had few issues using anything from Zoo Med with my reptiles and overall I would highly recommend their products; not this if you have a turtle.
