Tires were removed from a Nissan Qashqai all-wheel-drive. In theory, all-wheel drive was not required at any point over the whole winter. The noise that rubber makes is bearable, despite the fact that it may cause some discomfort. Goodyear was the brand I had my heart set on, but the salespeople talked me out of it by suggesting that the sidewalls were too flexible. The option that was selected completely meets all of my expectations. Took 4700 per tire. Some pros: Outstanding traction on ice as well as packed and loose snow. I appreciate the fact that it is soft. With these drawbacks: The excellent quality of braking on asphalt is significantly diminished as a result of the vast number of spikes. A fair amount of noise, particularly noticeable at speeds of 55 km/h and above; at speeds of 110 km/h and beyond, the noise is slightly decreased but, in general, minor. This is probably not the ideal choice for people who spend a lot of time driving on the highway.
