Installation is very simple: cut off the old connector, strip the wires and attach to the new connector with the screws provided. The plug is round for easy on and off. The end where the cord protrudes has a clip that grips the cord to keep it from detaching from the connector - eliminating the root cause of broken connectors! Works for both 3-pin and 2-pin (no ground) connectors. Just leave the ground jack blank if your cable doesn't have one (but I recommend marking the outside of the plug as "no ground" for clarity).
