Filter works great: Filter

available Summary: Filter cam 2016 Chevy Colorado Pros: Fits perfectly and shows flow Cons: Instructions provided were for a Cadillac sedan. Read below to learn more about my overall experience. I purchased this filter for use in a 2016 V6 Chevrolet Colorado LT. The previous owner was a smoker. I ran the ozone generator at 7000 mg/hr for 30 minutes after thoroughly cleaning the interior (vacuuming and wiping with soapy water). The glove compartment must be removed for installation. I removed the damper wire on the right side of the glove box and squeezed the sides of the glove box to lower it so I could access the filter housing. Some people remove the entire glove box by removing the plastic hinge pins at the bottom. The basic method is quite simple even for a beginner. The filter housing is held in place by two clips which must be pushed inward (towards the center of the housing) and pulled back. The airflow is from above as shown in the attached drawings (install the filter with the arrow pointing down towards the floor). Pull out and discard the old filter, insert the new one, noting the arrow on the side of the filter, and install the remaining components in reverse order. The airflow in the cabin can feel less intense due to the addition of activated carbon. The cost of "better" filtration almost always translates into lower airflow. In my opinion the airflow is still well in excess of what is needed and keeps the cabin nice and cool with the added benefit of what is touted as odor elimination. After completing the ozone treatment and installing this filter, the cab of this truck will smell like new. I couldn't be happier.
