The device has no pairing problems if you follow the instructions.

The device has no pairing problems if you follow the instructions published by "DA Kelly on September 16, 2016” press the wired phone for 5 seconds and then short press the #- button on the extension tube. (Don't hold the # key - just press and release) Voila!' THE PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS COMING WITH THE DEVICE ARE COMPLETELY WRONG on how to pair with the base (slightly shocked, Plantronics (dem which Clarity owns) doesn't know more about this fact.) I did what Kelly listed above and it took about 5 seconds to pair with no issues.
