Review on Filtrete Standard Filtration Sediment 3US AS01 by Melvin Belton

Urgently need an under counter filter as my last filter is worn out and broken . That works great. Only the supplied blue hose is quite stiff as it is made of plastic. It pretty much stays in the folded position as shown in the product photo so I had to trim it to fit the filter where I wanted it. The manual also says you have to press hard to make sure it's locked. I even pulled on the hose to make sure it was secure. Needless to say, if you still notice a small drop, you should probably press a little harder. This is my first time using push-in fittings so I didn't push them all the way in and the hose popped out when I turned the water on. After I corrected my mistake and pushed the hose further into the port, the dripping stopped and the filter has been working great ever since. No complaints for over a month!
