It does a fantastic job leaving no residue

I have never used it to polish my car. I actually bought it to polish jewelry and other small metal objects around the house. It does its job perfectly, leaving no unpleasant marks and does not have an unpleasant smell. I can't comment on how it works on a car but for my purposes it's a great product.
