I'm assuming that to replace the aftermarket systems you'll need to do something else to reprogram it, since in my case putting the truck into "programming mode" was simply unlocking the door when it was opened and turning the key to "run" position 8 times. . Best price I've found for replacing 2 key fobs was around $150 including labor not to mention the trip to the store and time away from my truck which would also cost me money ordered them instead and saved $140. But even if they do, who cares? IT WAS ONLY $10! I could buy 10 of these and replace them when they break and still come out on top.
