It's warm but not waterproof. I think this is a cute retro type 80s jacket. I k ow the style is the slimmer darker colored Burton style jackets but to me they seem a little boring. Anyway, I bought this for me and for my daughter,she thought it would be dorky funnyto have matching jackets. Sadly the zippers are huge on the pockets and as such they get really wet inside. I had my phone in the pocket and it got soaked. I wouldn't buy it again, just because on a wet snowy day your pockets are going to fill with water.
