I doubt you'll find a better hand for the money. Honestly we bought them for my son's room. I think he has the most comfortable bed in the dorm. They felt great. 100% Egyptian cotton is what we need. It's just the best feeling. Anyway, anything over 600 threads is usually fake. It's more about the quality of the cotton and the factory that makes the sheets. Just because these sheets say 100% Egyptian cotton - I can't say the sheets are all Egyptian cotton - but the "Egyptian cotton" used is 100%. how can they say it's 100% real juice when it's actually a blend. The bottom line in this case is, who cares? If you can find sheets that feel just as good for less money, buy them - but it's not going to happen. Let's see how they hold up in a hostel. Next time we buy new sheets for the house we can just avoid the $300 price tag and try them on mom and dad too :-)
