Poor workmanship of this handy tool

I love hori hori knives, the first one made me wonder where it has been all my life and I wanted another one for my studio garden. I found these Black Iron Hori Hori tools at a good price but it was a complete disappointment in craftsmanship. Made in China shouldn't matter as long as it's well designed. The blade itself seems indestructible and for the purpose and weight you need a good grip on the handle. As with most horis, the tang on this one goes right through, but on this one it includes sharp metal edges on either side of the handle as if to save wood. I could almost live with wearing thick gloves all the time. But the rivets also all protrude sharply on either side of the handle and will snag on your hand so it's back in no time. I ordered the slightly more expensive one from ML Tools: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZO3FNH8/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If you compare these two tools, you will notice that the Black Iron Tool also ergonomically inferior, even if it fixed poorly machined rivets and protruding hinge problems. Rather spend a little more for the right equipment!
