UPDATE! In the last 2 months this toaster has started burning everything we put in it. I set the dial as low as possible and the toast comes out charred! I think now I should waste my time contacting the company and see if they fix this problem. What a disappointment! I loved this thing - the first few months. Now - I can't walk for a second, otherwise everything will burn! I keep having to peek through the cracks and manually break the loop before it burns our toast again - disgusting. This is the first toaster I've bought in about 20 years. I was surprised by the features available. The keep warm cycle is very useful. The defrost feature is great as I usually keep bread, bagels and muffins in the freezer. I prefer to defrost directly in the toaster than in the microwave. The slots are quite wide and long enough for 2 bagels. We love that the bagel function only toasts the inside of the bagel. It's quick and the doneness scale is accurate. Tans evenly and quickly. We found it very odd that a very short toaster cord comes out the front of the toaster lol! We cannot imagine why this was done in this way. The cord reaches the outlet when the toaster is extended to the edge of the counter, but there's little slack here. I would prefer all black. Like all stainless steel coatings, it gets dirty. Overall we are very happy with this purchase and have recommended it to friends and family.
