Perfect replacement

My Kenmore microwave over the oven accidentally blew a fuse after opening the door, there didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to say exactly when it blew other than that it did when you opened it the door was always correct. After going through 3 or 4 fuses I researched further and found that it wasn't uncommon for door switches to fail. After experimenting a little more with the microwave, I found that the bottom switch can be turned on and off simply by shaking the bottom of the door, and if it switches before the others when the door is opened, the fuse will turn off run away. In order for the new switches to arrive I prevented the fuse from blowing by opening the door very quickly each time to ensure there was no time difference between each switch. It's been three months since I replaced the old fuses with these new ones and I haven't had a blown fuse since and no longer have to worry about the microwave blowing my particular door opening method. In any case, my landlord is glad he doesn't have to buy a new microwave or hire a technician to inspect it. It took nothing but a screwdriver. I can't say how long they last, but they're infinitely cheaper than a brand new microwave oven, so they don't have to last very long to be worth your money. They look exactly like the old ones so I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same manufacturer and part.
