Experience with Winwill's Office Supplies That Was Not Satisfying

As someone who goes shopping for office supplies on a fairly regular basis, I was thrilled to give Winwill a shot for the very first time. Despite this, I found working with this business to be a thoroughly disappointing experience. To begin, there was no attempt to be competitive in any way with the prices. I was able to find products that were very comparable at other retailers for significantly lower prices, and the quality was either the same or even better. When there are other choices available that are of a higher quality, purchasing products from Winwill at a higher price is difficult to defend. Second, there wasn't a very wide variety of merchandise to choose from. Although the website presents itself as a "one-stop shop" for all workplace and school supply requirements, I discovered that I needed to shop at a number of different stores in order to acquire everything I required. When I assumed I could rely on Winwill for everything, it was aggravating to find out that I had to go through this additional hassle instead. Lastly, the quality of the merchandise that I did end up buying was below average. It was very difficult to read the desktop calendar that I purchased because the paper was of poor quality and the ink was smudged. The pages of the personal organizer that I bought were made of thin paper that tore readily. From a business that specializes in these kinds of products, I was anticipating a higher standard of quality. My interactions with Winwill were, on the whole, less than impressive. The prices were not competitive, there was a small assortment to choose from, and the quality of the products I purchased was less than satisfying. This is not a business that I would recommend to anyone looking to purchase workplace or academic supplies.

Pros
  • A comprehensive offering of workplace and academic goods and supplies
Cons
  • restricted merchandise selection
