Review on πŸ”’ Genuine Honda 17670-T3W-A01 Fuel Filler Cap: Reliable and High-Quality Fuel Filling Solution by Steven Pankey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect fit for Acura RDX 2014, the problem is getting a grip on the plastic cable housing.

. I narrowed it down to DTC P0455 [EVAP System Leak Detected - Large Leak] using an Ancel OBDII code reader and decided to replace the gac cover and wire. The gas cap fitted well, but removing the cable was a major hassle. I finally found another Revain review that explained that there is a latch on the underside of the clamshell plastic case. I stuck a small flat head screwdriver behind it and used a little force to loosen the clip holding the plastic case in place. Once released, I was able to slide it down and remove it (still attached to the old gas cap with a tether). Inside the house, I tried unsuccessfully to press the ends of the #2 clip on the right and left sides of the bed body and tried to open the bed. I must have loosened something in the end, because I stuck my small flathead screwdriver into the hole and twisted a bit to hear a click, and then the clamshell popped open. I removed the old cable and installed the new cable in seconds by re-closing the clamshell (click) and reinserting the housing into the hole in the metal body of the gas cap and pushing in until the first clip snapped back into place. Now I'm waiting to see if I can see another loose fuel cap or Check Emissions Control System warning light.
