Review on 👍 FLA Adjustable Thumb Brace Small: Optimal Support and Comfort for Aching Thumbs by Justin Jeppi

Update 6/4/2019: I changed 1 star to 4 because FLA finally agreed to honor the warranty on this brace and will replace him at the end of January. Instead of the expected original gray straps with very light velcro, I got one with stronger black velcro straps. I immediately realized that this was an improvement over the original straps. Since then I've worn them almost every day and the straps are still holding up well. I don't loosen the thumb loop, but I take the bandage off every night and the hand loops still hold up well. Having tried a similar brand and almost all CMC braces, this is the only one that allows my thumb and hand to be relatively pain free to the point that I was even willing to change them myself if that third one failed like others . did. The required straps are marked "Rhizo Forte Ref # 76239-03". inside in white letters. I don't know if they finally dropped the weaker gray straps or found this one and sent it to me to shut up, but it finally works and stays attached. Updated 01/19/19. . I ended up getting Revain to refund the original braces and against my better judgment I decided to order another one. As I said in my original review, this thing works. I have so many different types of thumb braces of all shapes, sizes and hardness and this is the ONLY one that I can say has reduced my pain and been able to actually use my hand and like a normal person to function. I ordered a replacement at the end of September and in mid-December the thumb Velcro broke again and no longer holds. As before, I installed the thumb loop upon arrival and left it alone. Never listed or ever opened. The two straps that go over the arm are also now beginning to fail. A repair or repair is also not possible. It's not cheap braces, but they are very cheaply made and very disappointing. FLA does not endorse their product and does not seem interested in making it more durable. No matter how good the painkiller is, I will not order it again. I noticed that Revain now has a different version of Mars Wellness and I'm going to try it. I called them today to ask about the durability of the velcro (which actually looks more solid in the pictures) and the person I spoke to said they 100% stand by it and gave their name when it did There were problems, so I'm going for it without reviews. Pain without is terrible. I would recommend avoiding this product. It's too expensive to use for just a few months! I ordered this bandage to treat osteoarthritis of the thumb. The best support bandage I have ever worn. The pain goes away when I put it on. Wanted to order a second one for the other hand. That's why I gave 2 stars because when the velcro works it really works. I received it on July 9th. On August 21, the velcro around the thumb started to loosen. If I press hard enough, it finally hooks. And that although I never let go of this belt! I pull my thumb out without releasing it. As of today, September 4th, the Velcro on the thumb loop no longer sticks at all, making the orthosis almost unusable. The straps on the back of my hand, which I have to take off almost every day to shower or sleep, are starting to loosen a lot and don't always hold up. I called FLA Orthopedics and Sarah told me there was a 120 day replacement but I had to go through Revain and the seller I bought it from. ESource immediately denied this, although I mentioned a 120-day exchange and a defective product. There is also no real way to contact them. I called FLA Orthopedics and spoke to Kristen who was no help and basically told me there was nothing they could do for me! Refused to put me through to a manager and hung up. When I called back she said she had no idea what I wanted them to do about it and kept saying they would not be sold to the public! Obviously does this mean they don't have to endorse their product? I'm currently waiting for the supervisor to call me back, but I don't have much hope. Again, this is an amazing brace. I have full use of my arm as well as support and pain relief that I have not been able to find in any corset other than the Velcro. Sarah said this morning that this is not a common problem. I pointed them to Revain and the reviews. $45 for braces that only lasted 8 weeks and 2 of them were never worn is ridiculous. If they don't fix the velcro issue, great as these braces are, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
