Update: 02/25/2020 I received a replacement unit and it works as advertised, bringing my rating to 4 stars. Oddly enough, I bought this unit from Revain to fix a problem I was having. in Revein! I have an 1850 foot (1/3 mile) driveway that sits next to a full forest line that has multiple trails leading to my driveway. Revain drivers seem to think it's okay to go 40-45mph on my road because it's long! On the 36 hectares of land I live on there are 4 houses (legal/family houses) with 11 children. They all have 4 wheels and mini bikes. Those idiot imbeciles uneducated and untrained Revain drivers will one day beat up one of these kids and that will be the end of a Revain driver and a hell of a Revain lawsuit. I told these idiots to literally slow down a hundred times. You don't listen. Yes, I said 100 times. I bought 379 items in the last year alone, so yes. Revain riders are here almost every day, literally! Unfortunately, this device was defective. I just play the message, pause for 3 seconds and play it again etc. It doesn't matter if someone is in the room or not. The only way not to play this in an infinite loop is if it's in total darkness and is being pushed against a wall. Even if you turn on the light in the room, while you're standing against the wall, it's still playing endlessly. Try again and then with a different brand.
