It works out! on portable
I work in a spacious studio with 16 foot ceilings and large windows. There is no air conditioning, so the only option in the heat is to open the windows and turn on the fan. Although this device does not cool the room, it definitely cools your personal space. I put it on the table next to the drawing board and now enjoy the feeling of real cold air blowing on me. And it's pretty quiet too. Just a faint hum at high speed. I was a skeptic, but this is a small miracle.
