My husband's office is the hottest room in the house, so I installed this small desktop air conditioner and tower fan to keep it cool while studying keep . We haven't filled it with cool water yet, but it blows cool enough air on its own. He's also pretty calm.

Just got my mini fridge and had to try it. It's pretty cool with just water. I'm looking forward to trying it with an ice cube, but overall I like it so far. But louder than I thought, but it does the job. I just hope it lasts a long time and doesn't give up in a few weeks.

Although this mini air conditioner cools really well, it has a few problems. I have a leak at the bottom when I add water, I can't adjust the fan speed so it doesn't turn off and it takes a few tries, it's a bit hard to tell how full the water is as there isn't a natural one Light or other near the display. In addition, the lid never stays open when I fill it.

It's possible I'm doing something wrong, but you need to freeze a small ice tray that spills easily and then place it in the holder relatively unprotected. Also, one has to fill the chamber with water from which one can easily pour water on all the electrical components and spill it later when moving the device. It also covers a very small area when working. I could only imagine it would be useful if you were sitting at a desk and it was pointed no further towards you than your computer monitor

I work in a spacious studio with 16 foot ceilings and large windows. There is no air conditioning, so the only option in the heat is to open the windows and turn on the fan. Although this device does not cool the room, it definitely cools your personal space. I put it on the table next to the drawing board and now enjoy the feeling of real cold air blowing on me. And it's pretty quiet too. Just a faint hum at high speed. I was a skeptic, but this is a small miracle.
