Let me start by saying that I received this product the very next day after ordering and paying - promised, kept. I chose this system based on customer feedback and the fact that Apec is a US manufacturer and not just a retailer. I was a little unsure about installing something as complex as it looks. I'm a fairly intuitive and imaginative non-professional housekeeper, so I'll say that you should have some experience with projects of medium complexity. But in this case, I was replacing an old reverse osmosis (RO) system and knew right from the start that I had to remember that the instructions would detail the new installation. The first thing that strikes me when I look at the manual is that it has all the step-by-step instructions and diagrams. I usually read all instructions twice before starting and this was no exception. And I'm comforted by the fact that these people really know how to write in a way that a person with even minimal experience can do the job. I have carefully studied the instructions, taking into account the configuration and equipment of the system to be replaced. Once I have selected the minimum modifications required for this setup, I remove the old reverse osmosis unit. Following the diagrams and each assembly step, I complete the connections and place the components for the final installation. I double check all the connections, cross my fingers and turn on the water to charge the system and voila!, it works great. Wait 3 hours for the reservoir to fill, empty the reservoir to just a trickle, then allow another 3 hours to fill. The tastiest water! No leaks, no problems. I am very satisfied with the product and the relatively easy installation. Since this was a replacement it took me about 4 hours to complete, not counting refueling and refilling the tank. I would recommend this product to anyone with an intermediate skill level.
