My husband is a baker in the family. He tried different pans over the years and settled on this type of which he had two. But he usually makes three loaves at a time so I ordered this one for him thinking it was the same size as his. The two he already had turned out to be the 1lb size so I returned these and bought him the correct size to match his others. As I write this, he is baking three loaves of bread. He likes the way the pan cooks, washes and holds its shape. A thin layer of butter is enough to easily loosen the finished bread.
