If you live in Wisconsin, you really need to watch the weather. It can go from sunny to dark to rainy to a tornado in a matter of hours. We had shaky spooky weather which made me think we would need some sort of safety gear like flashlights, batteries etc but most of all we needed a weather radio. When the power goes out and nothing works, you still need to know what's going on. Pros: portable, has many different ways to power the radio which is very important, has additional security features like backlight, SOS, and also has normal radio function. They can run on batteries by charging the battery, solar power and the handle. The Bad: Not the best sound, but I can't deduct a star for it because it's not meant for listening to music. Feel safer with this weather radio in your home.
