Review on Sports Protein Isolate Unflavored 2 Pounds by Jason Lewis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best soy powder I know.

I've used a lot of protein powders. I avoided soy for a while because of the negative hype, but I wanted to find cheaper alternatives to protein, so I read about soy again. It turns out that non-GMO isolate avoids all of these problems. I'm back on the soy protein train. What's Good: It's an easy, pure, non-GMO soy protein isolate, meaning the things you're worried about growing manly boobs or infecting you with mansantism aren't a gift. It's one of the softest and finest powders I've ever seen, maybe the softest soy powder, and it smells neutral. Cons: There really aren't any. It's cheap but doesn't look cheap. This is a durable container. Difficulty: It's easier to just mix whey, beef, and egg protein powders together. Beef and eggs are much more expensive. Soy is good for quick digestion and is also moderately digestible, but whey is digested faster. You do NOT want to use pure protein powder. they just don't taste good. It doesn't taste bad (some taste bad. Pea protein and hemp sometimes smell and taste bad). You also don't want to buy a pre-mixed flavored protein powder since almost every one of them uses protein ingredients. It's best to get a pure blend like this. Now I get this, high-fiber hemp, pumpkin seed protein, and collagen peptides, and mix it all together. 2 parts soy and 1 part each other. I take a large container and mix about 4 cups of soy with 2 cups of hemp, pumpkin, and collagen. I usually mix it with homemade green powder, coconut oil, lemon juice, stevia, and sometimes additional fruits, veggies, or roots. I also sometimes mix it with cocoa powder, stevia, vanilla, and coconut oil. The texture and taste are wonderful. Conclusion: I will not use any other soy products. It mixes well, tastes great and is sold at a very good price. If you're looking for a really fast-acting protein, there's nothing better than whey protein for the price, but soy has more nutritional benefits and not many people have allergies or tolerance issues. Even if you take protein before exercise, the protein is already available in your body.

Pros
  • UNFLAVORED PROTEIN POWDER: Soy Protein Isolate is a good plant-based source of high-quality, complete protein with an excellent amino acid profile.
Cons
  • Expensive
