These cups are comfortable to hold and are only slightly warm to the touch when filled with recently boiled tea. They offer an element of visual interest being able to see gradations of color in the beverage they're filled with. They'd also be nice for wine, port or liquor. Aesthetically, they're quite lovely, being able to see the beverage suspended in the glass-within-glass . The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they're fairly light weight. Each glass has a tastefully stenciled letter "k" on the bottom--I'd slightly prefer this be absent, but it's small and unobtrusive. Overall, I'd recommend these glasses and would purchase again at the current selling price of under $20 for 4 glasses.
