If I had been told 20 years ago that I would be sitting in my bed at 35 and writing an online review about a shower curtain rod, I would have slapped you. And yet here we are. This rod is so close to perfect it hurts. Excellent build quality, sticks to walls STRONGLY, looks great. There's one small blemish that only gets more annoying over time: the lack of a plastic spacer. Let me explain: you see, the way a shower curtain rod works requires a seam down the center of the rod, which on almost every rod I've seen is offset by a small plastic spacer attached to one end is beveled to allow the curtain rings to slide across it quite smoothly. But this one doesn't have anything like that. Even if they have metal rings with rollers, they get stuck every time I close the umbrella. Not a big deal the first few times, but now it's getting old. I'm sure I'll make it myself at some point, but until then.
