later The valve was easy to install, the valve aka flipper with the spring seems a bit strong but I understand why you need a stronger spring when you install them horizontally rather than vertically. But vertically the force of the pump at the bottom should push the valve, which I haven't measured, at least 5 pounds if not more. The valve seemed very solid, I like to see that the water has no problems. The actual seal appeared to be plastic on plastic with no rubber or high or low differences, as if the faucet sat flat with just a strong spring. It looks like it will probably work for a long time and then the seating issue will start to appear, but who knows. At least you can see if there are problems or bubbles.
