This product is not much different from the glass screen protectors you would put on your mobile phone, except that they are larger for a larger 8 inch screen. I installed it on my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara screen, not only does it improve the look of the screen, I'm relieved that there is another layer of protection for such an expensive device. Jeep told me it would cost $6500 to replace so I think that money and time was well spent. Some comments speak of lags when trying to select different applications. I can say that I have absolutely no lag in selecting and executing any option. This really is a great product.
