That's a wire... I like blue. I didn't use half of what was in the box because I had a powered subwoofer which I just plugged into the factory speakers and it turns on when it picks up sound so I didn't need a remote control cable or RCA cable . I guess I'll leave it as a man and I might use it for something one day... But yes, it transfers the electrical current from the battery to the subwoofer very well. And there are plenty of extra details to save for your next subwoofer project. So I guess I have something to complain about since this is a review: Umm...it was very hot the day I installed my subwoofer and I got a small piece of copper wire stuck under the skin of my thumb and it burned because my hands were sweaty. So if you are very fond of wire, I think this is what you are looking for. Oh, it's definitely a 5 star cable.
