I really like this hair dryer, but $150? It's really hard to believe that this is necessary. It dries my hair faster. Not incredibly fast, but with a lot less airflow than my old 1800w hair dryer, I was surprised at how quickly moisture was removed from my hair. I have very thick shoulder length hair. What used to take 6 1/2 minutes is now done in 5 minutes, which initially looked like the gentle airflow you see in hotel hair dryers. The bonus is that the noise level is definitely lower. Before that, the dog is not so afraid. I alternate between using an oscillating head (when it's very wet) and a concentrator for final drying. So what am I saying? I say it's surprisingly good and my hair is softer ready to style BUT - I'm still choking on the cost.
