Okay, there's a lot to say here so please read it and hopefully it helps others. TaoTao 150cc ATV series. The wiring harness wasn't set up for this quad in the sense that the connectors weren't connected to the right place on the wire harness/harness. Now the good thing was that I had the old wiring harness removed and I was able to use some wires and connectors to get this new wiring harness working. NOTE: IF YOU DO THE WIRING AND CONNECTION WELL IT WILL WORK BUT YOU MUST CHANGE! The next good and bad thing is the schematic that is provided with this kit. Yes, as others have said, it's very easy and difficult to get through. I ended up splitting the diagram and writing a note at the top of the diagram as to what wire color does what in the harness. Try thinking about how things should work with the key off and on and you should be able to get through. This was helpful in my case because I make a living from it, but I also had to fix some issues due to a startup issue. Also note that there are some safety devices built into this wiring system such as: B. A switch on the main ignition/light/gas switch that needs to be reset after being moved left or right. Center the kill switch and press it to reset the switch, otherwise you can twist and turn but there will be no spark. The brake switch must also be depressed for the starter solenoid to close (allows the signal wire to the coil to be energized when the starter switch is depressed). There it put me in the no crank and no spark situation, both at different times. I also had to swap the headlight connectors in my case. All other electrical components worked for me and I didn't have to get anything else (like CDI or ignition coil, like others). As I said, that's a lot to read, but I think this tourniquet was worth it in the end, hard to believe, but I really need a tourniquet.
