I was so excited to get this for my kitchen. I love thin spatulas for flipping pancakes, but they often break after a month or so of use. I found this pen to be too heat resistant. Considering it's almost double the price of the ones I usually buy, I figured it must be worth the hype. Well, after 2 (yes, that is, TWO) uses, it looks like this. I'm not impressed and so don't feel comfortable continuing to use it for fear of plastic (or whatever they claim it's made of) ending up in my kids' food. I hope I just caught a broken one, but I won't be buying it again to find out. I feel bad for giving it to a friend before trying it myself and now I still feel like I gave him a crappy gift.
