Absolutely perfect medium for sculpting but you may need HARD for more detail but for me it's perfect. This is similar to the environment of Super Sculpey. except for the only downside, it sticks to everything I think - surfaces, tools, clothes, etc. However, I generally don't recommend buying a single block here; it is too expensive. Buy either Monster Clay or a 5 block/10 pound box; worth a lot more. I use this when I want to create separate casts/molds for detail or effects on figures that need to be lighter or a bit more "solid". Otherwise I use the Super Sculpey environment for everything.
