While the idea behind these cards is really cool they are, essentially, a nonfunctional novelty item. I bought a couple decks of these cards as something different; however, soon after I took them out of their box, it became apparent that they wouldn’t be used in an actual card game anytime soon as they are nearly impossible to see clearly (I purchased the black-on-black deck), thus effectively relegating their use to building houses of cards and the like. In order to see the cards, you all-but have to lay them flat in front of you and reveal your hand to your opponents so any trick taking game is not in the cards. That being said, I have no issue or gripe with the quality of the cards themselves and, as stated earlier, the functionality might be improved with a different color other than black.
