So I've used it on steaks and it seems to be holding the seal. So I went ahead and made chicken with teriyaki sauce. The gravy was pulled out of the valve you think is supposed to pump out air. But the air didn't come out. The suction does not work well. Getting the air out is not easy. The package has to be just right for him to want to draw air. *Update* An email has been sent to the manufacturer. They returned my purchase and sent me a replacement for the issues I was having. So your customer service is excellent. They gave me some tips on how to put the bag on the cutting board and try to get the air out that way. This seemed to help. In general, the quality of the bags is easier when they get the valve to remove the air. Changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars.
