so I work in a chain of needlework shops. We have flashlights like that in the store, you know, very nice, nice, but terribly expensive, and you can't use coupons? Spring. I saw this while trying to find a deal for one of them. The reviews were mostly good, so I thought the price was right, let's try it. I use it with my diamond paintings. The light is very bright, no problem at all. The magnifying screen is very large, no need to squint. There is some blur at the edges of the circle, but the center is large enough not to be a problem. Sometimes the glass has to be too close to focus properly, but when it does, man, it's awesome. Biggest issue I've had and I think it's a lighting issue with everything, not just this one. Although the base and clamp are heavy, they are large and strong. They hold the light well, the glass adjustable tube is a bit wobbly. I'm not worried about it breaking, it just doesn't seem strong enough to hold the glass exactly where I want it. Put something heavy on it to keep it balanced. Overall I think this is a fantastic product for the price that just needs a little tweaking. I would buy this brand again anytime. (Is it just me or does another brand make you smell moldy every time you take their product out of the box?) I recommend this, study it, knowing it's not perfect and you may need to make some adjustments that he worked for you.
