This diffuser appears to operate at very low pressure which is BAD if you want tiny bubbles of CO2 that dissolve in water. It also makes adjustment extremely difficult, as the lightest tap of the button sends cascades of bubbles through the meter. I let him go for a while hoping that when he got "dirty" it needed more pressure, but I think it actually got worse. At first I thought it might be me doing something wrong (weak washer etc.). This did not happen, I plugged the unit fully in and left it plugged in, I turned off the filter but left the CO2 on while looking down the tube with a flashlight to see bubbles coming out of the unit. I could see bubbles surging through the ceramic tube. I've had a diffuser before, but aside from being ugly, it took just over 30psi to push the bubbles through. High pressure is good, but I didn't want my system to be under THAT pressure due to the increased risk of leakage. This requires about 5 psi. this is bad. Was hoping for something in between (although it looks great).
