Very happy with aquarium pumps and filters

excellent product! Very durable and well made. Minimalist presence. I've been looking for one like this for a long time. Much cheaper than other well-known brands and works on par. I've used GLA's built in atom diffuser in the past which produced a much finer mist, I'm still very happy with it as it does its job well. Haven't seen any ceramic replacement parts from this company but I hope they will sell them soon. All in all a very good buy. This product definitely deserves more stars.

Very nice, don't do what I did.

When I got it as a handyman, I opened every nook and cranny to inspect it. Little did I know I had lost the rubber seals between the plastic and metal and ended up leaking. I had to take it apart again and make sure I put the gasket back in place and the old, 0 flows and runs very efficiently. I get a very fine mist from the bubbles streaking through my tank. 1.5bps into this diffuser at my 75g weight gives me 30ppm co2.10/10.

Great product - aquarium pumps and filters

I use Home Depots 5/8 ID clear tubing ($10) for this 5/8 Co2 line. It fit snugly on the connector and twisted. I had a small leak after installation due to a bent hose. I straightened the hose and it stopped flowing. I would say that my pipe is not as thick as it should be, which can cause a slight leak during installation. It took a few days to build up the co2. I have noticed that fewer injections are required. Went from 2-3 bubbles per second to less than 1 bubble per second. Good product…

Great diffuser at a good price

Great diffuser. I replaced my previous built in diffuser with this which was more expensive than this one and had a poor diffusion rate and yes it was clean. The resulting CO2 creates bubbles so small they look like smoke. CO2 dissipates quickly and the only bubbles in my tank are O2 from my plants. The plants are growing much faster and looking much better, although my drop checker was green when I ran the old diffuser. This shows you that the color of the check doesn't actually mean you're…

READ IF YOU CAN'T GET THE SCREWS

So I saw a review with a guy having trouble getting the screws onto the tubes and then screwing them onto the unit, something like that like the tube that goes in a little notch that connects to the CO2 tank. This isn't the way to go if you have a thick hose. It connects the same way my canister tubes connect to the canister, which means you screw the bolts all the way down into the unit, then put the tube on, then tighten the bolts. I screwed the screws onto the tube, then the tube onto the…

Good for DIY CO2 bad for everything else

This diffuser appears to operate at very low pressure which is BAD if you want tiny bubbles of CO2 that dissolve in water. It also makes adjustment extremely difficult, as the lightest tap of the button sends cascades of bubbles through the meter. I let him go for a while hoping that when he got "dirty" it needed more pressure, but I think it actually got worse. At first I thought it might be me doing something wrong (weak washer etc.). This did not happen, I plugged the unit fully in and left…

GREAT built-in CO2 diffuser!

I bought this inline CO2 diffuser after reading many positive reviews on Revain Prime and several aquarium blogs. I bought the 16-22mm version which I use with OASE hoses for a 5/8" ID canister. The 5/8" ID tube fits perfectly into the diffuser. I put the 5/8" hose in hot water for 15 seconds to make it fit over the two diffuser ports. But I think I could do without it wear.As other reviews have mentioned, two gray grub screws are included. The bottom nuts do NOT even fit the pipe on the…
