Review on Cuisinart DCC-1200 Brew Central 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker, Black and Silver by Leslie Whitehorn

Not only does this product not work, but customer service needs to be fixed. I bought this about a year ago and the self cleaning worked and it stopped brewing. I followed the self-cleaning instructions and it started up again and stopped brewing. I replaced it myself for over 80.00. Well I've had this model since September and it started up again two months ago. This time I contacted support and they gave me specific self cleaning instructions and said I had to do it again even though I had done it the other day and then had to wait a few weeks before contacting them. So I spent a few days trying to get a coffee and eventually it was time for me to email, which I did. I was then told they would do nothing until I sent them proof of purchase. (Of course, I wouldn't accidentally call her about a coffee pot I don't have), but I did. I waited a few more days and was told we will replace it but we don't pay shipping or tax and they require me to pay them 10.00 to send me a new one and then I had to pay to send the old one back and they required me to do it with extra tracking etc. Needless to say I was done.
