They look great but they definitely have some quirks and possibly quality control issues. I bought them for my 4th grade. Each month they hold an auction where they can use the money they earn from their assigned work to 'buy' fun things. My son and his teachers have assured me that this is ONLY what today's kids want. And of course those were the hottest tickets. The kids loved them and everyone wanted one. Unfortunately, out of the 10 I submitted (my kids had to choose one each to stay first), two of them were DOA. The light didn't come on at all. Luckily the broken ones were found before they were all taken so the kids could trade them for good ones. I felt really bad because I seemed to have to open every box to make sure they worked before sending them out. I want to open all 12 boxes to make sure they all work before giving them to anyone. Otherwise, some children might be disappointed. There definitely seems to be quality control issues here. It's really difficult for kids to attach them. My boys are 4 and 9 years old and both need help. However, when they're on, they're pretty decent. Lights and changing light patterns make these spinner bracelets extra cool. In terms of durability, this is about what I would expect from such an item at this price point. Were it not for the broken ones I received I would say the overall quality is worth the price. I would love to love them because conceptually they are really cool. But I felt really terrible that some of mine were broken. My rating reflects the quality control issue and the fact that it is difficult for children to put them on by themselves. Whether I recommend them, yes, because of the coolness and the price. Ease of use and overall quality? no
