Inexpensive for occasional use
This is a decent gauge and worth having on hand for occasional use. I have never seen it fully open and have had to rely on light to indicate continuity. I used it to diagnose a motor that wasn't considered grounded with my 9 volt meter and it helped. I'm glad I have it, but it's not a tool for regular use.
