I liked the idea of these pedals being the same color as the accent on my Giant. I installed them and they looked amazing. When climbing, the size of the pedal relative to the shoe was stable, but when descending technical stuff, my feet would slip. The pins on the pedals stick out well, but aren't rough and sharp enough to "grab" the soles of the shoes. Usually the rider has to lean their feet into the Vee to lock during descent - this didn't work and made me slide more so I stalled it. I can carve small slits in each pin to roughen it up a bit.
