When the box arrived it looked like there was nothing inside or like there was nothing else in the box. When I opened it I saw a scooter. When I picked it up the scooter itself is pretty light for something like this. The last scooter my kid outgrew was a lot heavier than this one and this one claimed they could carry it. With this scooter, they really can carry it, almost like nothing. The wheels glow and even during the day you can see them glowing slightly, but as soon as it gets dark you can actually see them. We live on a cul-de-sac so the neighborhood kids are a bit safer riding bikes and scooters, but thanks to the lights I always know where my kid is. The good thing about this scooter is that there is a real brake. Most scooters I've seen require you to use your foot while this one has an actual brake that takes some getting used to but save on rails. When reassembling I felt padding on the handlebars and they have a lot of padding. Really protects my child's hands.
