I have bought at least 6 of these routers so far. Whenever a new router is needed, I buy another one. They are at my home, at my parents' house, at the office and in a few places where there is internet access. They work flawlessly for months and the only time they fail is when my ISP has a problem or when the power goes out. Why this and not another router? - It supports OpenWRT. If you know how to do that, it's recommended to update to the latest standard version of OpenWRT (not the one configured by GL.iNet, but standard OpenWRT) - it makes grid mode easier, although I've never used it. You will likely need this if you have a large house as the WiFi signal is not as strong as routers with stronger transmitters/larger antennas. The processor inside gives you considerable bandwidth when using WireGuard/OpenVPN. 192 Mbps is what GL.iNet advertises, but I couldn't verify this as my downlink is below that.
