Here's the REAL problem with this cutlery: They start to stink like an old wet towel and your fingers will stink. This is due to bacterial growth caused by water getting between the metal and the plastic handle, which begins to easily detach from the metal. I tried to wash and cook thoroughly, but nothing helped. I've been using this set for less than 2 years and love the look but I've always disliked the feel of cutlery as it feels almost slightly sharp - in other words not very comfortable. show where the plastic is beginning to flake and oxidize away from the metal. There is smelly water here too. Must be a deal breaker. Don't buy this. Buy all-metal cutlery.
