The valve has a hit when adjusting the gap. It changes about 0.004 thousand times when checking 180 degrees. It shouldn't make a difference to check the air gap. I set it up as best as I could. It seems to work. The instructions could have been written better with the starter solenoid connected. The starter magnet cable is not required to connect the ballast resistor. I found out myself. Thanks, the machine runs better than on a lean machine.
