Might be good for photography but the 100 watt equivalents. inexpensive yellowish CFLs are at least as bright.

This lamp may be good for photographic purposes, but if you're just looking for bright illumination in a dark room like a closed garage, it's not worth the price. My assessment compared to a regular cheap yellowish 100 watt equivalent CFL bulb sitting next to it (in a garage opener) is that it gives brighter daylight BUT doesn't emit more or even less light.
