Received this as a desktop stand for my phone which I use in my shop. I love it. Right out of the box I was impressed with its construction and durability. I joked with my son that it looks like a lightsaber lol. I liked how compact it was and it was very easy to plug in the blue tooth remote which works very well. After several weeks of use, I found only one downside, which is a big problem for me. With a regular sized phone attached to you and the stand fully extended, this stand is very heavy and will fall over. I understand this can be used as a selfie stick, but when used for top down video it just doesn't work. If the legs were a little longer that would solve the problem without sacrificing compactness. As said, it works great but has some limitations that I wasn't expecting and I expect using it in windy conditions will cause problems. In one of the photos you can see that I'm actually holding it with my fingers to keep it from falling.
